Really kicked my butt.

Seriously. Everything I touched either withered into dust or broke apart in spectacular fashion. It was almost amazing. Though in all honesty... It couldn't have happened better. I hope you're confused at this point.

Let me explain. Everything that went wrong happened at the best possible time. My lawn drys up and I try to fix my sprinkler system. I break the main valve causing a huge geyser. Flood my lawn for a few minutes till I jam a broken wooden spoon into the leak. Cut myself alittle fighting the water pressure to get it in there. Saved myself a few hundred dollars instead waiting for help. Yes, I tried the main water supply shutoff. Didn't do any good. Later on when the repairman arrived he informed me that the valve was already busted abit before I broke it completely and had been leaking for quite some time. With it fixed up better then new I should save a whole lotta money on my water bills from now on. So stupidly doing my own home repair and bungling it turned out to save my family money in the long run.

Then there was my car battery... Very ironic story there but this things too long as it is. Sweet dreams dreamers.
